* Decrease on scene time for fire and police personnel

* Maintain capabilities through ongoing training

* Obtain and respond to feedback from customers

Duties Semester
Crisis Response Intern
Fingerprint/background clearance is required.
Training required which may significantly delay start of service hours or which needs to be completed prior to the start of the semester.

A Crisis Response team member responds to emergency scenes to provide assistance, guidance, referrals and grief support to citizens during a crisis or tragedy.  Here are examples of when they are called: Fire loss, Drownings, Death Notifications, Grief Support, Homicides, Fatalities, Suicide, Mental and/or Physical Abuse, Alternative means of transportation (based on guidelines), etc.

Fall (mid-August through mid-December)
Spring (early January through late April)
