ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

Duties

  • Fundraising, including communicating with donors and plan fundraising events;
  • Attend community or client meetings;
  • Direct communications with clients, acting as a mentor;
  • Develop and facilitate implementation of human trafficking awareness media packet; 
  • Write quarterly newsletter

Population served

  1. This internship will serve females age 18 and over;
  2. These women are victims of abuse and are in need of services and support to become independent.

 

Community need/impact

Provide Safe house for women who are victims of domestic violence and human sex trafficking

The intern will help promote organization's purpose through the use of social media, TV and radio to generate publicity and funding which will help to build a better living environment for the females who live in MOMA'S house.
