We are very flexible with our work hours. There will be a couple of Saturdays that we will utilize the students throught the semester but most duties will be accomplished during the work week.
REQUIRED/DESIRED SKILLS
Extensive graphic design experience. Must have your own computer editing software. The ability to work in a team and independently is a must. Student must attend scheduled meetings and meet all deadlines given by the program supervisor.

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Duties
The Graphic Designer will help to develop business programs, brochures, photos and other printed media to further promote the companies mission and objectives. Students will work with the outreach team to develop awareness projects and company campaigns. Team members will network and develop community relationships to raise awareness about Unchained and the horrifying realities of domestic sex trafficking. Additional duties may include: Fundraising, major event support and organization, developing training curriculum, work to increase social media presence. This is not an exhaustive list and other duties relevent to the student's coursework could apply.
Population served
Unchained will serve community members such as local and national law enforcement, local service agencies, parents and teens, victims and survivors and the business community on how to identify victims, how to work with victims and what resources to refer or provide for victims.
Community need/impact
Sex trafficking is a growing billion dollar industry that requires advocates to raise awareness about the hidden issue. Unchained seeks to educate the public; community officials, educators, students, teachers, victims, survivors, social service agencies, clubs, organizations, and anyone who has interest in the realities domestic sex trafficking. Unchained uses experiential, creative learning techniques to address the issue to the public and provide resources to victims.
The students will have the experience of working within a devloping organization that will impact communities on a national level. Students will have the opportunity to see their work utilized in a non-profit organization and have the opportunity to increase their professional portfolio.
