Events/Marketing Intern Fingerprint/background clearance is required.

The Events/Marketing Intern will assist the Events & Marketing team in the planning, execution, and wrap-up of several Make-A-Wish Foundation of Arizona events while further developing skills in public relations, brand management, and written and oral communications.

• Responsible for leading a team of dedicated events volunteers while reporting to the Marketing and Events Director.

Fundraising Intern Fingerprint/background clearance is required.

* Coordinate donor stewardship, including, but not limited to, gathering wish story information for development team members to share with donors, coordinating donor mailings and gifts, coordinating wish kid art parties, etc.
* Make daily donor thank you calls
* Coordinate annual solicitation to all Wal-Mart stores throughout Arizona
* Assist in securing and collecting auction items needed for the internal event fundraisers

Volunteer Department Intern Fingerprint/background clearance is required.

* Responsible for obtaining volunteer background check and COI forms
* Assist Volunteer Manager in contacting volunteers for wish team placement
* Maintain volunteer information into Raiser’s Edge (training provided)
* Assists in community recruitment, training, and supporting wish granting volunteers
* Assists in organizing volunteer activities/networks
* Assists events & marketing when needed
* Assists on wish granting and with Wish Kid Ambassadors....

Wish Delivery Intern Fingerprint/background clearance is required.

Under the direction of the Wish Delivery Director, the Wish Delivery Intern will oversee various wish granting volunteer tasks as well as various community events.   Projects include:

WISH COORDINATION: Assists in coordinating the one, true wish of a child with a life-threatening medical condition. These tasks are done at the direction of the Wish Delivery team including director, intake manager, and wish managers.
