Population served

our volunteers range from 14 to 65 and are diverse in every sense of the word.

Community need/impact

The community we serve needs quality volunteer opportunities which satisfy the following:  Structured volunteer activities that promote sobriety and "giving back", acts as a window to teach our community about those we serve and how positive outcomes reverberate through the community, links the community tangibly and emotionally to create better informal support systems.

Service interns will increase the informal support systems that support our programs and the population we serve.  Interns will be positive role models for our volunteers and will have the opportunity to most effectively utilize their skills and passions to lead agency volunteer projects.  Service interns will reciprocally be able to utilize their newly enhanced community organizing skills in their subsequent internships for the better of our broader community.
