Ideal candidate is outgoing, enjoy people, and is a self-starter. He or she should possess basic Microsft Office Suite skills, excellent people and communication skills, and strong organizational skills. Previous recruitment experience is a plus.

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Duties
This position oversees the coordination of Catholic Charities Ambassadors, who are a corps of volunteers proactively seeking speaking engagements with civic and faith groups. These speakers represent Catholic Charities at Community Service Fairs and speak at external events held on behalf of Catholic Charities.
This internship position serves as Coordinator of this Catholic Charities Ambassador Corps. Duties are to: Collaborate in the identification and recruitment of potential speakers and future ambassadors for the agency; conduct initial screening and interviewing; assist in orientation and training of accepted speakers; assign and coordinate speaking engagements for the newly formed Ambassador Corps; assist in conducting evaluations of Ambassador Corps members.

This service learning internship provides the opportunity for greatly increased awareness of Catholic Charities services and programs, and opens the door for prospective volunteers and potential donors whose efforts can enhance the reach of the agency.
This position increases awareness of the services available to vulnerable families in Arizona, and fosters community solidarity and engagement with those who live in poverty and/or crisis.
