Career Services Assistant
  • Assist clients in our Career Services area with online job searching techniques, applying for positions online, formatting resumes, and even applying for unemployment
  • Ensure that clients who visit Career Services are aware of the ability to meet with a Career Coach, attend various career-oriented workshops and other services provided by the Resource Center

Child Watch Assistant Fingerprint/background clearance is required.

Assist the Child Watch staff in providing free child care for the women that visit the center to attend workshops and obtain other resources in order to improve their quality of life. The Child Watch intern will help with arts and crafts projects, encourage children to play and interact together, assist with infant care, distribute snack items, other duties as needed.

Client Relations Assistant

Client Relations Assistants are the first point of contact for welcoming all clients, guests, and volunteers to the center. Client Relations is intensely focused on providing a high level of customer service with a level of empathy and understanding of the diverse situations which bring clients into the center. Self-Esteem Assistant

The Service Learning Student will work closely and, at times, on their own to assist the Self-Esteem Room Manager with daily preparation, set-up, tear-down and operation of events and workshops within the Self-Esteem Room at the Resource Center. Creating fliers, gathering items for client distribution, ensuring that clothing is steamed and ready for client use, organizing product and clothing in warehouse and on stock shelves, putting together gift bags for make-up application course...

Tech Coach

If you are comfortable with computers and enjoy teaching people new skills, then this is the position for you!  As a Tech Coach, you will instruct and guide women in computer basics (i.e. how to use a mouse, creating an email account) and using computer software programs such  as Word, Excel and PowerPoint at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Opportunities to host a small class of 4 - 9 clients or serve on a one-on-one coaching basis.

Tech Coach - East Valley

If you are comfortable with computers and enjoy teaching people new skills, then this is the position for you!  Tech Coaches will guide clients one-on-one with formatting Word documents, running and using Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, navigating through the Internet, creating an email account, online job searches, and more.
