ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Duties
The Home Visitation Parent Education Intern will help our Home Visitation Team by:
- Working with the Volunteer Educator to come up with an impactful service for current participants
- Ensuring project is in line with Parenting Arizona core service needs
- Being able to work with various demographic groups throughout Maricopa County
- Being open to travelling to participants homes
Population served
The Home Visitation program services areas in Northwest Maricopa: Glendale, Peoria, Wickenburg and Sun City West and in Southeast Maricopa: Mesa, Gilbert and Queen Creek. The 450 Families in these areas with a child 0-3 can become part of the program and recieve various services.
The Home Visitation Parent Education Intern will put together a project related to the mentioned services for participants in the mentioned areas around Maricopa County.
