Interns make a profound difference in the life of a child. Free Arts trains intern mentors in youth development and art therapy techniques to work with some of the most vulnerable youth in Maricopa County. We provide best practices to encourage appropriate social interaction, create a sense of self-worth, build trust, and help the kids find new ways to express emotions.
Intern Mentors make all the difference in the life of our children. Through our programs youth are able to see their own potential, self worth and provide for growth that they would otherwise go without.
