2) Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

4) Experience or desire to work with K-8 students/teachers in Title 1 schools.

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Duties
1) Work directly with and observe K-8 students and teachers/faculty in Title 1 schools during Be Kind Crew assemblies. As a result of this work:
- advise and help implement programs that extend our offerings to meet the ongoing needs of the population and communities we serve.
- advise and help develop resources for classrooms so that schools can integrate BKPP program elements on an ongoing monthly basis.
- Primarily through direct school interaction, conduct pre/post surveys to measure teacher/student behaviors.
2) Conduct a program tracking behavioral results in schools receiving Be Kind Crew assemblies. This will come as a result of the work done in point #1.
3) Conduct national research analysis of character building programs available to schools.

1) Teachers nationwide (primarily K-8 in Title 1 schools).
2) Students nationwide (primarily K-8 in Title 1 schools).

1) Teacher retention.
2) School behavior issues often manifested as bullying.
