Kaitys Way
The Purpose of Kaity's Way is to provide assistance to children of all ages subjected to or involved in violent relationships.
Our Mission is to promote understanding and educate the community to lessen the instances of violence among or against children through P.E.A.C.E. (Patience, Empathy, Acceptance, Caring and Equality).
Our Vision is such that the Awareness and Education we provide will bring about the Prevention of violence and therefore a societal shift providing a generation of healthy respectful relationships to be followed by many others.
Having an intern with Kaity's Way will allow for the student to have the opportunity to help at presentations and event booths to share Kaity’s story with various organizations, schools and the general public. Our mission is to promote understanding and educate the community to lessen the instances of violence among or against children through P.E.A.C.E..
Kaity’s Way has also created a brochure which they distribute along with other resource materials at various community events, maintains a website, as well as sends out a monthly newsletter, Kaity’s Korner, to more than 500 recipients across the United States, all of which provides invaluable information to the community such as, warning signs (red flags) of a violent relationship, suggestions for creating a safety plan and how to get and/or give help.

An internship with Kaity's Way will allow for the student to have the opportunity to help create avenues, build relationships and bring awareness to the prevalent issue of Teen Dating Violence and promote Healthy Relationships. There are many options to participate in the mission of Kaity's Way through presentations, event booths, and social media to name a few. |
