Urban Agriculture program, University of Arizona Cooperative Extension

Mission: 

To provide educational programs and technical assistance to school gardens, community gardens, and small-scale farms in the urban environment of Maricopa County in order to improve nutrition, increase green space and outdoor access, provide workforce development and training opportunitites to disadvanatged communities, and grow food sustainably in the low desert.

Student(s) selected to intern with the Urban Agriculture program at the University of Arizona (UA) College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) Cooperative Extension (CE) will perform a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:
