ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Duties
Tutors will assist kids with their homework to ensure it is complete and accurate. They will create academic games that will support classroom learning. Tutors will also get to engage students in fun activities at the center such as field and gym games, rock wall, game room, and swimming.
Population served
It is in the area of South Phoenix, a very diverse and culturally rich community. However, the demographics of this community fall below the national average in areas such as education, food, clothing, health care and many more. The Kroc Center presents opportunities in a state-of-the-art facility to foster wellness, recreation, the arts, education, and spiritual growth.
