Sunburst Elementary School

Mission: 

 Sunburst is a public K-6 school in the Washington Elementary School District.  We would like ASU students to work with our Highly Qualified Teachers in the After School Academy.  The goal of this program is to raise academic success in our most at risk students.  More one on one instruction for students, and support for the teachers will help students meet his/her educational goals.

Posted internships

Duties Semester
Classroom Assistant Fingerprint/background clearance is required.

 Assist classroom teachers with small groups of students or work one on one to help children gain skills in math and reading. Help keep running records of student progress.  Help supervise students during snack time, during classroom instruction, and during dismissal. Some computer knowledge is helpful.
Fall (mid-August through mid-December)
Spring (early January through late April)
Summer (mid-May through mid-July)
