The Centers for Habilitation serves adults with disabilities within the community whose diagnosis of disability include one or more of the following; Developmental Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities, MMR, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Down's Syndrome, Angelman's Syndrome, Turrets Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, etc.

Community need/impact

Because TCH is a non-profit and relys on public dollars for a large percentage of its revenues the agency requires donations from the community. Historically TCH has not relied on these funds as heavily. However with state budgets being reduced due to budgetary restraints TCH's development department needs volunteers to help in this capacity.

With the decrease of revenue due to cuts in state budgets many of the services that TCH has historically offered have been negatively impacted. The dollars raised within TCH's Development Department improve the lives and the quality of life of members of the community who are served by TCH and have disabilities.
