Population served

The TCH Day Program serves a variety of adults with disabilities who exhibit the effects of one or more of the following diagnosis; MMR, Developmental Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Behavioral and Emotional Disabilities, Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, Angelman's Syndrome, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Cognitive Delays, MMR, Fragile X, Cistic Fibrosis, etc.

Community need/impact

The disability community that attends TCH's Day Program has a need to increase activity levels. Staff that works with this community require support in improving these activity levels.

The individuals served at TCH live in the community either in TCH Group Homes or at their own family home. These individuals need and deserve a quality of life just as every human being does. Increasing our curriculum capabilities will give staff support in working with these individuals and will therefore improve their quality of life. Along with supporting individuals with disabilities and TCH staff this project will improve the quality of life of families who care for their adult children who have disabilities and attend the Day Program at TCH.
