Duties Semester
Activity Development Fingerprint/background clearance is required.

Student will assess activity development needs with TCH middle management by observing in classroom settings and applying knowledge gained in their ASU classes.

Student will work a group settings with TCH consumers to assess these needs.

Student will give feedback on how to improve activities, outings and general participation from consumers who attend the Day Program.

Develop curriculum for Day Program that addresses learning, engagement and quality of life....

Funding and Development Intern

Assist on fundraiser organization.

Participate in grant writing process.

Interact with donors to increase participation.

Work with Board of Directors Fund Development Committee.

Work in fund raising software to increase donorship.

Increase contributions through Arizona State Working Poor Tax Credit.

Legislative and Self-Advocacy Awareness Fingerprint/background clearance is required.

Work with family members and self-advocates to facilitate relationships with congressional and legislative representatives.

Contact legislators to set up visits for families and self-advocates.

Attend visits with legislative and congressional representatives.

Assist in trainings for family members and self-advocates to improve their abilities to connect with legislators and tell a compelling story to advocate for the needs of people with disabilities.

Sales and Marketing Intern

Working with TCH Upper Management staff to make the agencies brand more cohesive.

Review print materials to check for consistancy in how TCH's brand is presented to general public.

Work with development department to present a clear message to donors about how their contribution impacts TCH programs.

Research potential business for TCH's various programs and startegies for marketing.
