Mission:
The Educare model was developed to address the need to narrow the achievement gap for low-income young children. Each Educare center combines available pubic and private funding to deliver the highest quality early childhood education and care to young children in its community.

| Trough Gardening (school/community garden) |
Fingerprint/background clearance is required. Interns will work side by side with teachers, children and familes to develop a new appreciation and respect for gardening. Interns will help plant seeds, maintain the gardens and help harvest the produce. Interns will also help implement activities children will do related to the curriculum, which will include math, science and the arts.
