Population served
The population served includes women over 18 years old leaving prostitution and sex-trafficking. These women are coming off of the streets and out of abusive, controlled lifestyles. Many of these women are addicts/alcoholics and are homeless.
Community need/impact
This will provide items and experiences for/to women that are leaving the life of prostitution and sex-trafficking, providing them with needed items to live a healthy, positive life.
Many of the women in this program have never been to the zoo, seen an art show, or have been bowling. Completing these activities will provide these women with new experiences they have never been a part of or new existed. These can provide these women a new look on life and learn how to have fun.
This will also provide funding so the house is able to stay open and provide housing to these women.
