Fingerprint/background clearance is required. Intern duties include: Assisting with instructing children in small-group reading activities, working with individual children or small groups of children to reinforce new skills initially introduced by the Reading Specialist or classroom teacher, and assisting with implementing special strategies for reinforcing skills based on the needs and abilities of each child. |
