Our residents generally are in school or working during the morning and afternoon Mon - Th. They are available after 4:00 PM and all day on the weekend.

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Duties
Intake interviews with potential residents
Work with residents on:
Individual Development Plan
Time management
Monthly budgeting
Tutoring basic math, science and English
Conduct weekly house meetings with residents
Monthly resident progress reports
Population served
We provide a safe house and services to adult female survivors of human sex and labor trafficking and / or domemestic violence. Most of our population have limited education and job skills and need assistance to successfully restructure their lives.
Community need/impact
Work directly with female survivors of abuse to set short and long term goals and help them obtain the resources and skills necessary to achieve goals they have set.
The students will have the opportunity to assist victims of abuse increase their own sense of self-worth and to transform themselves into self-sufficient survivors.
