| Hospice Intern/Volunteer |
Fingerprint/background clearance is required. Training required which may significantly delay start of service hours or which needs to be completed prior to the start of the semester. Volunteers/Interns will work with hospice patients who have a life expectancy of six months or less. Interns can read a book, watch tv, play a game/crafts, provide respite care to the caregiver, or just hold a hand. Volunteers are to provide companionship and socialization to patient and familes. |
